TotalPoll offers a solid set of settings that allows you to control almost every aspect of your polls starting from vote frequency, choices and results sorting and much more. Vote limitations & frequency#
To keep your poll credible, multiple vote limitations and frequency controllers were put in place so you can control who can vote, when, where and how many times. There two main parts of this section:
Vote limitations: This part gives you control over global constraints of vote eligibility.
Vote frequency: This part provides some controllers of how many votes could be casted during a specific timespan.
Sometimes, the order of choices is important and that's why TotalPoll provides sorting settings. For example, you can shuffle the choices to give a chance for every choice to appear first.
Controlling poll results is essential because it's the most important part of every poll. This sections gives you control over results appearance, it consists of three parts:
Sort: Same as choice sorting but this time for results.
Visibility: This part allows you to control who can see results or hide them completely until a specific criteria are satisfied.
Format: This part gives you control over shown votes. For example, you can customize it to show only percentage, votes or a mix of both.
Because sometimes you need to put some custom content before or after poll, TotalPoll provides an interface to insert it without touching a line of code. There are four parts in this section:
Welcome: This part controls the content that appears before vote form.
Vote: This part controls the content that appears above and below vote form.
Thank you: This part controls the content that appears after casting a vote.
Results: This part controls the content that appears above and below poll results.

Optimizing your poll for search engines is important to maximize your traffic, this section gives you control over your poll title and description meta tag. Usually, this is handled by other SEO plugins such Yoast and All-in-one SEO.
In this section, you could configure notifications and delivery channels to keep you updated. It consists of three parts which are delivery channels:
Email: You can put your email to get a notification once a new vote is casted.
Push: You can configure your OneSignal application to give you instant push notification when a new vote is casted.
WebHook: Developers can setup a WebHook that will be fired once a vote is casted.
